Zero Shot Self Orchestration

1 GoKawiil brief on this topic

Open-weight Qwen3.8-27B Multi-Agent Setup Matches Claude Opus on Coding Benchmark

Researchers describe a training-free method called ledger-based zero-shot self-orchestration, in which multiple copies of one model coordinate through a shared filesystem to solve coding problems. Tested on 100 hard LiveCodeBench problems, orchestrated Qwen3.8 Flash Next hit 93.0% pass@1 versus Claude Opus 5's 90.4% at roughly 9% of the cost, while a locally run Qwen3.8-27B jumped from 66.8% to 92.4% accuracy. The paper notes the gains are not universal, with some models seeing no improvement or worse results.
