GoKawiilAlex Gibney's 'Musk' documentary dissects Musk's rise using AI avatar, no interview
Filmmaker Alex Gibney made a documentary about Elon Musk without his participation, instead compiling Musk's own public statements and litigation records into an unsettling digital avatar that voices things Musk actually said. The film traces Musk's career from Zip2 and X.com through PayPal, SpaceX and his takeover of Tesla from co-founders Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Musk has publicly dismissed the project as a 'hit piece' and called Gibney a 'douche.'
