GitHub | Documentation | Paper LLMs promise to fundamentally change how we use AI across all industries. However, actually serving these models is challenging and can be surprisingly slow even on expensive hardware. Today we are excited to introduce vLLM, an open-source library for fast LLM inference and serving. vLLM utilizes PagedAttention, our new attention algorithm that effectively manages attention keys and values. vLLM equipped with PagedAttention redefines the new state of the art in LL
Why you should join Continue We believe there is an opportunity to create a future where developers are amplified, not automated. This is why we are enabling developers to create, share, and use custom AI code assistants with our open-source IDE extensions and hub of models, rules, prompts, docs, and other building blocks. Headquartered in San Francisco, Continue (YC S23) is funded by Heavybit and angels like Julien Chaumond (co-founder of Hugging Face), Lisha Li (founder of Rosebud AI), and F
Prompting LLMs is not engineering published in: With the proliferation of AI models and tools, there's a new industry-wide fascination with snake oil remedies called "prompt engineering". As of July 2025 the term is now "context engineering" or "context prompting" or "context manipulation". To put it succinctly, prompt engineering is nothing but an attempt to reverse-engineer a non-deterministic black box for which any of the parameters below are unknown: training set weights constraints o

Despite it having upward of 61,000 reviews on Steam, Hades II isn’t actually out yet. The sequel to Supergiant Games’ hugely successful roguelite dungeon crawler has been in early access on PC for over a year, and even the early builds were extremely polished and content-rich for what is still a work-in-progress game. But we (and Switch owners) have been waiting patiently for that 1.0 release date, and it looks like it might be just around the corner, with Supergiant confirming that the latest U

With the release of Jurassic World Rebirth, we’re taking a look at the roster of characters from this latest era of the Universal Pictures and Amblin blockbuster franchise, where the dinosaurs tend to be the most memorable stars. Rexy, the T-Rex, reigns supreme, of course, but the old girl has been carrying the franchise on her back for over 30 years. When it comes to the humans of Jurassic World, have any of them hit the icon status of Jurassic Park’s original trinity? No one has come close to

The long-simmering feud between President Donald Trump and his former ‘first buddy’ Elon Musk is showing signs of boiling over once more. Following the passing of Trump’s signature “One Big Beautiful Bill” that will offer tax breaks to the wealthy while kicking millions off of Medicaid, Musk publicly supported Senator Rand Paul’s criticism (one of the few Republican ‘no’ votes in the Senate), specifically Paul’s assertion that the bill would ‘explode the deficit. Rand posted on X, “The Big Not-

Tony Tan, a Google shareholder, has obtained and published a set of letters the Trump administration sent to multiple tech companies, essentially saying: don’t worry about the law, the president has your back, keep TikTok online. However, Mr. Tan disagrees. And he’s taking legal action to prove it. A bit of back story The TikTok ban has had more ups and downs than any busy person would care to follow. For today’s news, here’s the part that matters: Towards the end of his term, President Bide
Less than a month after Capcom’s surprise announcement of the next Resident Evil game, another new entry has been confirmed. But before Resi fans get too wild with excitement, this one is a mobile spin-off for iOS and Android called Resident Evil Survival Unit. It’s a strategy game that somehow fits into the broader universe, even if it’s not clear how at this point. We don’t have a lot of concrete information at the moment, with the game set to be fully revealed in a showcase scheduled July 10

Let’s say you’re working in tech and you have a technical role: you’re a programmer, a graphic or UI/UX designer, a sysadmin, maybe even a product manager. Let’s say you want to leave, change career, and do something more meaningful with your skills. Your motivations may vary: you feel the tech industry produces nothing of value, or maybe you have the legitimate suspicion that what you build helps bomb innocent people somewhere. You might want to leave because of the individualistic culture tha
Soham Parekh is all the rage on Twitter right now with a bunch of startups coming out of the woodwork saying they either had currently employed him or had in the past. Serious question: why aren't so many startups hiring processes filtering out a candidate who is scamming/working multiple jobs?

Once upon a time in America, there was a tyrant. And Congress rejected him totally. The tyrant, of course, was King George III, the target of the Declaration of Independence. We take it for granted now, but the Declaration was an enormous political innovation — in it, the country that became the United States of America laid claim to certain “unalienable” rights, rights that took precedence over any king or crown. To protect those rights, our Founders declared that the People were allowed to “

Introduction For the past few months, I have been working on a project called CAMLBOY, a Game Boy emulator written in OCaml that runs in the browser. You can try it out on the following demo page: Demo Page I included several homebrew ROMs in the demo, so please try them out (I recommend Bouncing ball and Rocket Man Demo). You can also play with it in your mobile browser as it runs at 60 FPS on recent smartphones. Repository You can find the repository here: https://github.com/linoscope/CA
