Could a Paper Plane Thrown from the ISS Survive the Flight?

Sometimes there are profound questions in life that must be answered, like "What is the meaning of existence?", "Are we alone in the universe?" or "What happens if you throw a paper airplane from the International Space Station?" The War on the Walkman

🗓️ On this day in 1979 the Sony Walkman was first released, marking its 46th anniversary The Sony Walkman is now an icon of the 1980s, eliciting nostalgia for the ‘good old days’ of owning music, rather than renting it. PlayStation needs Neil Druckmann more than HBO does

I really wanted to love season two of HBO’s The Last of Us. For the most part, I did — but it was also impossible to ignore the online masses saying that showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann had lost the thread in season two. Some of that comes from creative choices the pair made in adapting the first half of the PlayStation game The Last of Us Part II to TV; it’s a story with a sprawling plot that asks a lot of the player and, as it turns out, even more of a passive audience. The season t

Trans-Taiga Road (2004)

The Trans-Taiga Road is a gravel road that runs 666 km east from near the top end of the James Bay Road. It was built to access the various dams and generating stations that extend upriver along the La Grande River. This is an extremely remote road, leading 666 km east - almost to Labrador - with no settlements or towns aside from Hydro Quebec's settlements for workers (not open to the public). At the far end you will be 745 km from the nearest town! This is the farthest you can get from a town

ProtoArc XKM01 CaseUp Combo Review: A Reliable Portable Workstation

The mouse is perfectly adequate too. It's slim but provides enough palm support that my hand doesn't feel like it's cramping up. The scroll wheel and buttons are smooth and responsive. After a short time, I noticed a strange, squeaky noise coming from the left side whenever I'd click. It's not always there, but it's slightly annoying whenever it comes back. Like the keyboard, it charges via USB-C but has a slightly longer battery life of up to 200 days (standby time). The stand is super adjusta
