Apple TV is close to wrapping up its most successful year ever, and today the streamer debuted trailers for two of its final premieres of 2025: docuseries Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age and thriller The Hunt.
#1: Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age
Prehistoric Planet is a documentary-style series that has focused on dinosaurs in the past, but with the latest ‘Ice Age’ version is expanding in a new direction.
Like in the previous seasons, Apple is using CGI to offer a docuseries featuring creatures that once roamed the world. This new iteration is narrated by Tom Hiddleston and is being marketed by Apple as a new series due to the shifted focus.
Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age will premiere Wednesday, November 26 on Apple TV with its full five-episode season.

“Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age” is a sweeping new installment of the award-winning natural history series from executive producers Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit (“Planet Earth”), and narrated by Golden Globe and Olivier Award winner Tom Hiddleston (“Earthsounds”), with an original score by Hans Zimmer, Anže Rozman and Kara Talve from Bleeding Fingers Music. The five-part docuseries invites viewers into a dramatic new era of prehistoric life, millions of years after the extinction of the dinosaurs — an era shaped by ice, the intense fight to survive and the rise of a new cast of giants: the iconic megafauna.
#2: The Hunt
