Apple’s most affordable 24GB M4 Pro MacBook Pro now over $550 off the list price (Open-box, 1-yr. warranty)

While we are tracking the best price to date on the new M5 MacBook Pro at over $140 off via Amazon, this morning we are circling back around to the Best Buy open-box program for a deep deal on an M4 Pro. You’ll find an “excellent” condition 14-incher with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD at over $550 off the list price.

Best Buy is now offering the 14-inch Space Black M4 Pro MacBook Pro for $1,446.99 shipped. This is an “excellent” condition open-box unit that ships with a full 1-year Apple warranty.

This model carries a $1,999 list price at Apple and is now $552 less than that at Best Buy. A brand new unit will run you $1,779 at Amazon this morning. This model has been sitting at closer to $1,799 or so on Amazon this year with a few drops down into $1,699 range, but nothing anywhere near the price we have here today in open-box condition.

As far as Black Friday 2024 pricing is concerned for reference, this one fell to $1,749 brand new and then $1,699 just before Christmas at Amazon. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this one drop back down that low in the coming weeks, but it is almost impossible to think it will drop under $1,500 in brand new condition.

I guess there is still a chance Apple will unleash the new M5 Pro models sooner than later, but it’s looking more like they have been bumped to 2026 at this point.

Costco has one of the best prices ever on Apple’s most affordable M4 iPad Pro ($249 off list)

We have begun to track some notable $50+ price drops on the M5 iPad Pro, but the M4 model is still a wonderful machine and Costco is now offering the most affordable models at nearly $250 off the original list prices.
