#1: Pluribus
Pluribus is the new sci-fi drama from Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
It’s already become Apple’s biggest drama series launch ever, and that’s no doubt in part due to the near-universal acclaim it’s earned from critics and viewers alike.
The series has a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and 86 on Metacritic.
Though its premise is shrouded in mystery, here’s Apple’s official summary:
The most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.
In my view, Pluribus shares a lot in common with Severance. It offers a very grounded, human-focused twist on a sci-fi show and evokes a lot of philosophical questions.
