According to a report from South Korean outlet SEDaily, citing industry sources, the Exynos 2700 outperformed the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro in an in-house evaluation by Samsung. The report further claims that the Exynos chip beat Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip in multiple categories.

The Exynos 2700 reportedly scored 19% higher than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in Geekbench 6.5 multicore tests. It also beat the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro with a 9.5% higher score in the benchmark, per the report.

Apparently, Samsung’s upcoming chip performed 5% better in peak performance than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and 24% better in low-power testing, according to the report. Further, it seems Samsung has improved the power efficiency of its Exynos chips, resulting in the Exynos 2700 consuming around 12.7% less power than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.

The report also states that Samsung’s chip outperformed Qualcomm’s Pro chip in AI computation. The Exynos 2700 was reportedly 18% faster than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro at generating responses and 5% faster at recognizing and processing user prompts.
