The image shows a ten-core CPU with two differently clocked C2 Ultra performance cores and eight C2 Pro cores, paired with a substantial cache setup, an Xclipse 970 GPU, and a large NPU block.
Korean outlet Money Today, citing tipster Jukan, claims Samsung plans to sell a Galaxy S27 Ultra variant powered by its in-house Exynos 2700 chip in select markets, alongside a Snapdragon version reserved mainly for the US. This would mark the first time since the Galaxy S22 Ultra that the top-tier Ultra model has shipped with an Exynos processor, with the same dual-chip split reportedly extending to the new Galaxy S27 Pro model.
Code found in the One UI 9 Beta 7 build for the Galaxy S26 references Scam Detection support for a wide range of devices, including the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z TriFold, and the unreleased Galaxy S27 lineup. The same code lists model numbers tied to these devices and references an Exynos 2700 chip alongside a Qualcomm option for the S27 series, hinting at Samsung's continued dual-chipset approach.
A report from South Korean outlet SEDaily, citing industry sources, says Samsung's in-house benchmarking shows its upcoming Exynos 2700 chip outperforming Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Gen 6 Pro across several metrics, including Geekbench 6.5 scores, gaming performance, and AI response generation. The chip also reportedly uses roughly 12.7% less power than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro while delivering better low-power gaming results.
