GoKawiilThe first question following an Apple event, after “Can I really afford that?” is always, “When can I get it?” And consistent with previous product announcements, some of the devices and features that Apple revealed today won’t be available for a while.
Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like we’re seeing a repeat of 2024’s Apple Intelligence rollout, which inspired a false-claims lawsuit that Apple is settling. Siri AI now works as advertised, at least in the beta versions we’ve been able to test so far.
For the other features Apple touted during its event, here’s an idea of when you’ll actually be able to get them in your hands. We have specific dates for a few things, but be prepared to wait until “late 2026” for several.
The main events: hardware
Some of Apple’s new products are just around the corner, while others require a wait.
The Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 can be pre-ordered now, and will arrive starting Sept. 18.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max begin at 5 a.m. PT on Sept. 12, and will also begin arriving on Sept. 18.
The star of the show, the foldable iPhone Duo, is a bit further out, with pre-orders starting at 5 a.m. PT on Oct. 16 and first shipments arriving Oct. 23.
