Apple announced five new titles joining Apple Arcade next month: Pusheen's Place, River City Survivors, Terraria+, Touchgrind BMX 2+, and 4 Pics 1 Word+. The '+' titles are ad-free, purchase-free versions of existing App Store games, while Pusheen's Place and River City Survivors are entirely new releases.
Apple Arcade will exclusively debut Pusheen's Place on October 1st, the popular cartoon cat's first video game. Players can collect and care for over 100 Pusheen variations while completing minigames like Snack Stack, Parfait Pop, and Batch Match, and decorating rooms for characters such as Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen. Developers plan to keep expanding the game with new Pusheens, decor themes, and features after launch.
The Tetris Company publicly denied any involvement in Build the Wall, an immigration-themed browser game released by the White House that closely mimics Tetris's falling-block mechanics. Instead of clearing lines, players stack bricks to grow a wall meant to block a 'zombie horde' near the Southern Border, evoking Trump's long-standing border wall policy. The company said it never licensed its brand for the game and is reviewing possible copyright infringement.
The White House released a set of browser-based arcade games with names like 'Build the Wall' and 'Rio Run' that closely mimic well-known titles such as Tetris, Snake and Flappy Bird, using immigration-themed imagery including depictions of migrants as 'aliens' fleeing toward the U.S. border.
