Samsung mistakenly pushed internal test software to SmartThings-connected refrigerators in Korea, causing some units—mainly newer Bespoke AI four-door models—to lose power, freeze up, and stop cooling. Owners reported spoiled food, and Samsung said it is prioritizing emergency service through its centers, though some customers were told repairs might not happen until after Chuseok or even October.
