Apple's fall event introduced only the iPhone 18 Pro and a new foldable iPhone Duo, bypassing a standard iPhone 18 release. Rumors cited in the report indicate the next mainstream models, iPhone 18 and iPhone 18E, won't arrive until March 2027, meaning last year's iPhone 17 will remain Apple's standard offering for well over a year.
Apple's upcoming iPhone Duo, arriving in October, includes a fourth camera hidden beneath the inner display alongside its front-facing and dual rear cameras. Unlike those, the under-screen camera lacks a listed megapixel count and skips features like 4K video, cinematic mode, slow-mo, LED flash and portrait mode, offering only 1080p recording, FaceTime support, Center Stage and an f/1.8 aperture.
Apple recently raised MacBook prices industry-wide due to a memory shortage, making its laptops less of a bargain than they were weeks ago. Still, retailers continue offering discounts on both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, while the budget-friendly MacBook Neo remains at its $699 price with no retail discounts, though Apple's refurbished store offers $100-120 off with a full warranty.
