Spotify reported 788 million monthly active users and roughly €5 billion in Q3 revenue. Co-CEO Gustav Söderström told investors that Spotify is integrating with AI assistants like Meta's Muse, ChatGPT, and Claude, aiming to be the music service those agents recommend when users ask for playlists or audio content through conversation rather than the Spotify app itself.
Opera has released an update to its Air browser adding new wellness-focused features, including four-mode ambient music tracks (Focus, Relax, Work, Ambience), scheduled breathing exercise prompts, and guided neck stretches. The update also brings new nature-themed wallpapers, an automatic dark mode, and retains the built-in ad blocker and free VPN from the original version launched in early 2025. Opera Air remains free on Windows and macOS.
According to a court filing reported by the Financial Times, OpenAI has disclosed that it was disappointed by weak iPhone user uptake of ChatGPT following its 2024 integration into Apple Intelligence. The filing states that a month after launch, adoption was already slow, prompting OpenAI to lower its projections for weekly active users, and by summer 2025 the company concluded the integration was significantly underperforming expectations.
