GoKawiilFlorida HOA records show 460,412 liens, 10,296 foreclosure suits against homeowners
A database tracking 104,659 Florida homeowner and condo associations found that associations have filed 10,296 foreclosure suits against their own members, recorded 460,412 claims of lien and 277,047 lis pendens, totaling nearly 49,000 court records. The data also shows 6,661 associations are lapsed or out of good standing with the state, and that Florida accounts for 73% of the nation's association foreclosure suits.
