Abbott has received FDA authorization for the Libre Duo, its first continuous glucose monitor that tracks both blood glucose and ketone levels in a single wearable sensor. The device requires a prescription and lasts 10 days, mirroring the design of Abbott's existing Libre CGM lineup but adding ketone detection aimed at catching dangerous spikes before they turn into ketoacidosis.
Ultrahuman has introduced Pulsomics, an opt-in research program inside its app that lets Ring AIR and Ring PRO owners aged 18 and up contribute their sleep, glucose, and VO2 Max data to improve the company's wellness algorithms. The program currently covers three studies, with more planned around cardiovascular load and long-term sleep tracking, and requires only that users wear their rings as usual.

It is the first wearable in the U.S. to continuously track ketone levels and the first worldwide to combine continuous ketone and glucose monitoring in one device. Sensors measure both substances every minute in fluid beneath the skin and send readings wirelessly to a paired smartphone.
