A business owner trying to sign up for Google Workspace repeatedly hit an error claiming their legitimate, premium .one domain was actually an 'email provider,' blocking account creation. After escalating through multiple support agents, a specialist, and a video review by product engineers, Google's only resolution was to suggest using a different domain instead of fixing the false flag. The issue reportedly also affected other organizations, including Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, and remained unresolved as of August 2026.
