Jaguar unveils Type 01 electric grand tourer with over 1,000 horsepower

Jaguar has revealed the Type 01, a production four-door electric grand tourer based on its divisive Type 00 concept. The car uses three motors producing up to 1,016 horsepower, a 118kWh battery rated for 400 miles of range, and fast charging that adds 200 miles in 13 minutes. Jaguar says orders open in early 2027 with deliveries later that year, and one variant will start at $130,500.

JLR Launches First Fully Electric Range Rover After Delay

JLR has begun taking orders for the Range Rover Electric, its first all-electric SUV, roughly a year after originally planned following extended testing. The model offers up to 542 horsepower, a 118.5-kWh battery capable of adding 137 miles of range in 10 minutes, and a WLTP-rated range near 372 miles. UK pricing starts at £154,070 and rises above £225,000 for the SV Black long-wheelbase version, while US buyers can get the SE trim from $138,000 plus delivery fees.
