Huawei signals 'moderate' price hikes, joining Apple, Samsung, Google

Huawei chairman Richard Yu told Chinese media the company plans moderate price increases, citing roughly $200 in added costs per device from rising memory and component prices that have hurt profitability. The comment came alongside the launch of Huawei's Mate 90 series, including a special edition priced near $2,835 and a detachable 10x optical zoom camera module.

TrendForce: Apple's iPhone 18 Pro memory costs to jump nearly 400%

TrendForce reports that Apple's memory component costs for the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro will be almost four times higher in Q3 2026 than a year earlier. The firm expects Apple to absorb much of that increase rather than fully pass it to consumers, projecting only around a $100 price hike over the iPhone 17 Pro, while leaning more on Services revenue to cushion margins.
