Verizon has introduced a new Simplicity phone plan priced at $45 a month per line with autopay, or $30 for new customers who switch their number and bring an unlocked phone. The plan includes unlimited data, 5G Ultra Wideband access, 10GB of mobile hotspot, Canada/Mexico roaming and satellite texting, with optional add-on bundles for streaming and other perks sold separately.
Marissa Mayer has unveiled Dazzle, a personal AI assistant that draws its understanding of users primarily from their phone photo libraries rather than email, calendars or shopping data. The startup previously raised an $8 million seed round in December, and Mayer demonstrated how Dazzle can extract details like hobbies, travel history and family interests from photos, offering functions like auto-populating calendar events or suggesting repair services based on images.
