Wendy's released WendyQuest on Nov. 4, a free retro-style role-playing game available on iOS, Android and Steam where its mascot fights fry-themed enemies. Players who complete in-game regions earn codes redeemable for free menu items like fries, but the promotion is limited to US residents aged 18 and over who sign up for a Wendy's account and requires a purchase to redeem.

Itch.io has introduced a 'No AI' filter that lets users exclude games disclosed as containing AI-generated content from browsing and search results. Applying the filter reduced the visible game catalog from over 1.77 million entries to fewer than 425,000. The company said the filter addresses a feature it had been 'critically lacking.'
Valve said it has seen a sharp rise in submissions for store and page review in recent months, pushing review times up to 12 business days instead of the usual 3-5.
