General Motors is rolling out a redesigned user interface for its trucks starting in 2027, developed with input from a designer who previously worked at Apple. Rather than following the industry trend of expanding touchscreen real estate, the new design restores physical controls that drivers can push, turn, and click alongside the display.
Apple has unveiled the iPhone Duo, a foldable device that reworks the traditional iPhone interface by orienting controls vertically instead of horizontally. The redesign reflects the physical shift to a foldable form factor, requiring interface elements to be rethought for the new screen shape.

The fix introduces a 300ms 'warm window' after a tooltip closes, during which any new tooltip opens instantly, reverting to the standard delay only after that window expires.
YouTube appears to be rolling out an Android UI update that shows a red indicator on the scrub bar whenever users double-tap to skip forward or backward in a video, revealing exactly how much time was skipped. The manual scrubbing experience remains the same, still displaying elapsed skip time as users drag the bar. The change has been spotted on the stable app version 21.33 on devices like the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro, and Galaxy Z Fold 7, though it hasn't reached all devices yet.
