Google confirms fix coming for Pixel 11 Video Boost static noise bug

Pixel 11 owners have reported static noise appearing in videos recorded using the Video Boost feature, which enhances color, lighting, stabilization and low-light detail. Google told Android Authority it has identified the cause and built a software fix that will roll out through the Camera app in the coming weeks, with further optimizations arriving in a future monthly Android update.

Multiple Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro XL users say their videos contain repeated bursts of static noise, appearing roughly every five seconds when Video Boost is active. The glitch seems tied to the Audio Zoom feature, and some affected users say clearing the camera app's cache and turning off Audio Zoom stops the noise. Google has not yet issued an official response to the reports.
