As part of iOS 26, Apple launched a revamped experience for airline boarding passes in Apple Wallet. As of today, this feature is now supported by all four of the biggest airlines in the United States.
Delta, United, and Southwest all rolled out support for the new iOS 26 boarding pass experience last year.
Now, American Airlines has officially followed suit by supporting key new boarding pass features in Apple Wallet.
In the release notes for the most recent update to the American Airlines app for iPhone, the company says:
Your boarding pass has a new look with more at your fingertips, like Apple Maps, destination guides, and quick shortcuts to the app. You can also track your luggage and open Find My right from your pass.
With the new boarding pass experience, Apple Wallet shows you all the key details about your flight. This includes in-depth airport information in Apple Maps, support for sharing your flight information with other people, and quick access to tracking your AirTag-equipped luggage in the Find My app.
The rollout to American Airlines is a major milestone for the new feature, as American is the largest airline in the US by annual passenger count.

Previously, boarding passes in Apple Wallet offered only the basic information about your flight, without any of the new bells and whistles.
