A new Bloomberg report earlier this week confirmed what’s long been expected: Apple’s major new push into Home products will kick off soon. And I’m thrilled by what rumors say is coming.
Seven new Home products reportedly in the works as Apple expands lineup
During my two decades using Apple devices, there’s one main product category that’s long felt like it never met its potential: home products.
The first Apple TV was introduced the same day as the iPhone, and by Steve Jobs’ admission it was a “hobby” device rather than a major swing. Later, the Apple TV was joined by HomePod to expand the Apple Home lineup.
But this fall, Apple will reportedly start unveiling a major overhaul of its Apple Home lineup that I’ve long been asking for.

The majority of these devices have long been rumored to be ready, but pushed back until Apple’s new Siri launches.
It’s been a long wait, but Siri AI is finally here and shipping in iOS 27 this fall.
New Home products are reportedly not far behind it, with fall launches set for the new HomePad, Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini.
The larger HomePod and security camera seem like decent bets to launch soon too. The latter is hinted at by iOS 27’s new HomeKit Secure Video features.
