Accounts on X, including ones called 'UKViewTime' and 'BiTheWay,' have been altering real paparazzi photographs to make male celebrities appear shirtless, then posting the AI-edited images as genuine. Targets identified include Callum Turner, Noah Schnapp, Sheridan Townsley, Harry Styles, Knox Jolie-Pitt and Brad Pitt, with original images confirming the men were actually clothed.
Just Eat has apologised following online mockery of AI-generated pictures used to represent menu items that lacked real photos. The images misfired in several cases, including one showing bacon and eggs floating in a glass of cola after the AI apparently confused 'soda' with 'soda bread', and another depicting chips protruding from muffins. A company spokesperson said Just Eat is removing the incorrect images and will pause further AI-generated pictures until the technology improves.
A TikTok account called WellWithHer is posting AI-generated images of weeping women alongside fabricated family text messages about secretly using GLP-1 weight-loss drugs like semaglutide and tirzepatide. The posts include screenshots of notifications from a medication-tracking app called Enzo, embedding product promotion within emotionally staged, fictional scenarios.
