Amazon is selling the XGIMI Horizon 20 Pro 4K projector for $1,618.98, a 19% cut from its $1,999 list price and a $381 savings. The projector uses an RGB triple-laser engine with about 4,100 ISO lumens, optical zoom, and lens shift, and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and IMAX Enhanced. It also includes a low-latency gaming mode with up to 240Hz at 1080p, Google TV, Netflix, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and HDMI 2.1 with eARC.
IFM has launched K2 Horizon, a family of six models ranging from 0.9B to 375B-A23B parameters, released under Apache 2.0 with datasets under licenses like ODC-BY. Unlike typical open-weight releases, IFM is publishing the entire training lifecycle—intermediate checkpoints, data recipes, architecture details, training code, logs, and evaluations—alongside final weights. EuroHPC Joint Undertaking has launched six funding calls totaling €119 million to develop next-generation quantum computing infrastructure across Europe, including trapped-ion and superconducting platforms. The trapped-ion call, worth €20 million, targets a full-stack quantum computer with over 1,000 qubits integrated with HPC systems, while the superconducting call seeks a similarly scaled chiplet-based QPU with cloud access. Both calls opened August 13, 2026, with applications due November 17, 2026.
