Taco Bell and Milk Bar launch Birthday Cake Empanada Oct. 15

Taco Bell and Milk Bar are releasing a Birthday Cake Empanada, combining Milk Bar's signature cake flavor with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles inside an empanada shell. It arrives nationwide on Oct. 15 for $3.49, marking the brands' third collaboration after Strawberry Bell Truffles in 2022 and Birthday Cake Churros earlier this year. Taco Bell Rewards members can also claim it as a free birthday treat from Oct. 15 through Oct. 28.

Theresa Burnley, 65, launched protein-bite brand Circ in 2023 while still running her baked-goods manufacturing company, Wiley Road Foods, before leaving that business at the end of 2024 to focus on Circ full-time. The company now sells six flavors and generated roughly $2 million in revenue last year, with distribution across more than 13,000 retail locations including Starbucks and Walmart.
