HP Coupon Codes: 5% Off | June 2025

If you don't know where to start—and use—your HP coupon code, there’s a wide variety of options available at HP.com in terms of budget and use case, but my eye goes first to the high-end HP Omen gaming monitors, like the fantastic HP Omen Transcend 32. This 4K 240Hz monitor is a favorite among PC gamers, even among the huge amounts of OLED options out there. It can hit a peak brightness of over 1,000 nits in HDR, bringing scenes in games to life in vivid detail. Or if you’re on the other side o

Poppin Sticky Memo Ball Review: Color-Code in Style

If a messy desk is a sign of genius, I might be one of the smartest people out there. Everywhere I’ve worked, whether in an office or my own house, I’ve begun with the purest of intentions to keep my desk clean and clutter-free, only to weigh the time and energy cost of constantly putting things away just to pull them out again the next day. Spoiler alert: Most of the time, it isn’t worth it. One of the biggest, ahem, sticking points in my decluttering process is the sheer number of sticky note

Final Fantasy fans, now is the time to get into Magic: The Gathering

The Final Fantasy Magic: The Gathering set is here, and there’s never been a more perfect assemblage of Magic cards. The set features cards taken from every mainline Final Fantasy title, including the two MMOs, so there’s something for every generation of Final Fantasy lovers. And while Magic has featured other video game crossovers in the past (hello, Assassin’s Creed and Fallout!), with the way this set is constructed, from card mechanics to art, you can tell this one is a developer favorite,

Google Pixel 10a wishlist: These are the 5 upgrades I want to see

Ryan Haines / Android Authority Over the last few years, we’ve gotten used to a pretty reliable formula for Pixel launches. Every fall, Google rolls out its flagships, followed by the mid-range Pixel A launch a few months later in the spring. Usually, that mid-ranger takes most of its cues (and all of its internals) from the flagships, giving us a great chance to recommend the full Pixel experience without the full Pixel price. This year, though, the Pixel 9a tried something new. It picked up

Cross-Compilation Toolchains for Linux

About This site provides a large number of ready-to-use cross-compilation toolchains, targetting the Linux operating system on a large number of architectures. Based on gcc and binutils, those toolchains are provided in several variants with the glibc, uClibc-ng and musl C libraries. The toolchains are built using the Buildroot build system. Most toolchains are tested by building a Linux kernel and Linux userspace, and booting it under Qemu. This is of course not possible on some CPU architec

The bad boy of bar charts: William Playfair (2023)

A spy, a scoundrel, and a scholar William Playfair was all three. He led an extraordinary life at the heart of many of the great events of the 18th and 19th centuries, mostly in morally dubious roles. Among all the intrigue, scandal, and indebtedness, he found time to invent the bar and pie charts, and make pioneering use of line charts. As we'll see, he was quite a character. Playfair the scoundrel Playfair's lifetime (1759-1823) contained some momentous events: The development of the steam

P-Hacking in Startups

Speed kills rigor. In startups, the pressure to ship fast pushes teams to report anything that looks like an improvement. That’s how p-hacking happens. This piece breaks down three common cases—and how to avoid them. Example 01: Multiple comparisons without correction Imagine you're a product manager trying to optimize your website’s dashboard. Your goal is to increase user signups. Your team designs four different layouts: A, B, C, and D. You run an A/B/n test. Users are randomly assigned to

TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) Deep Dive

I've been working with TPUs a lot recently and it's fun to see how they had such different design philosophies compared to GPUs. The main strongpoint for TPUs is in their scalability. This is achieved through a co-design of both the hardware side (e.g. energy efficiency and modularity) and the software side (e.g. XLA compiler). Background To give a brief tldr on TPUs, it's Google's ASIC that focuses on two factors: extreme matmul throughput + energy efficiency. Their origins go back to Googl

Tell HN: Beware confidentiality agreements that act as lifetime non competes

Just a note of warning from personal experience. Companies don’t really need non-competes anymore. Some companies take an extremely broad interpretation of IP confidentiality, where they consider doing any work in the industry during your lifetime an inevitable confidentiality violation. They argue it would be impossible for you to work elsewhere in this industry during your entire career without violating confidentiality with the technical and business instincts you bring to that domain. It do
