Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority TL;DR T-Mobile is now promoting its postpaid plans to Mint Mobile users, suggesting they might save more by switching, even though T-Mobile’s plans are generally more expensive. This email campaign doesn’t seem to be widespread yet, but it mirrors similar offers previously seen with Metro by T-Mobile. While this doesn’t necessarily signal immediate changes for Mint, it could mean the brand will focus less on positioning itself as a cheaper, independent alte

It has become a common refrain during Google's antitrust saga: What happened to "don't be evil?" Google's unofficial motto has haunted it as it has grown ever larger, but a shareholder lawsuit sought to rein in some of the company's excesses. And it might be working. The plaintiffs in the case have reached a settlement with Google parent company Alphabet, which will spend a boatload of cash on "comprehensive" reforms. The goal is to steer Google away from the kind of anticompetitive practices th

Google is still waiting to hear how it will have to address its monopoly in the search engine business — it plans to appeal the judgement — but in the meantime, it also has to answer to its shareholders. According to a report from The Financial Times, Google's parent company Alphabet has reached a preliminary settlement with shareholders who were also suing the company for allowing Google's anticompetitive behavior, which they believe exposed the company to "reputational damage" and "substantial

Joe Maring / Android Authority The sudden release of the One UI 8 beta was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. It isn’t as significant an update as One UI 7, and the improvements refine rather than revolutionize the experience. Aside from the additions Samsung has made to One UI, there are also some goodies from Android 16. I’ve been using One UI 8 on my Galaxy S25 since the beta was released, and although I like what Samsung has shown us so far, I don’t think you should install the beta

Statistically, men are more likely than women to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, with about 18 million more men living with the condition worldwide. This doesn’t tell the whole story. When women do get a diagnosis, they’re often older and have a higher body fat mass. They’re also more likely to die from diabetes-related causes, especially heart disease. And some researchers think underdiagnosis might explain part of the gap—perhaps more cases are being missed in women. To address this dispar
