Apple is expected to phase out sales or software support for roughly ten legacy products across its iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac and display lineups in 2026. This includes models that will be pulled from Apple's online store as newer versions launch, as well as older devices that will stop receiving the next major operating system update.
Apple's July TestFlight update added a search feature but also introduced a bug that caused previously tested and expired betas to flood the app list, sometimes numbering in the hundreds, mixed alphabetically with active betas instead of the prior reverse-chronological order. Apple has now released a fix addressing this regression alongside the search functionality.
Startup Atlas has opened pre-orders for its first product, a small EEG sensor that sticks behind the ear to track brain waves, skin activity, movement and vocal patterns. An iOS app translates that data into scores for presence, performance under pressure and stress recovery, letting users log activities to see what states help them thrive. The device costs $500 upfront plus a $30 monthly fee for replacement sensors and adhesives.
Apple Arcade has released a limited-time crossover between Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+, running through October 7, giving players four character skins, two hoverboards, and a reimagined level themed around Sasquatch Valley. Apple also released a set of Sneaky Sasquatch stickers for iMessage, and confirmed a separate birdwatching-themed update for Sneaky Sasquatch arriving September 17.
Apple's Find My iPhone can be turned off manually via Settings, but only after disabling Stolen Device Protection, a security feature enabled by default since iOS 26.4. Users are advised to do this at home to avoid built-in delays meant to deter thieves who know a device's passcode. Location sharing with specific contacts can also be stopped individually through the Find My app without disabling the entire feature.
