Apple has rolled out updates to Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Pixelmator Pro and Freeform. The iWork apps now support Siri queries and shared-file access requests, Pages gains a Screen View mode, and Numbers adds new trigonometry, statistics and logic functions. Pixelmator Pro brings Select and Mask tools to iPad and new templates, while Freeform adds Dark Mode support, collaborative folders and Apple Intelligence Writing Tools.
At its annual developer conference, OpenAI unveiled 'Dots,' cartoon-mascot AI agents powered by its GPT-6 Astra model, now available to Pro, Business Premium and enterprise subscribers. The company also released GPT-6.1 Sol, a cheaper model it claims matches Astra's intelligence at a fifth of the cost, alongside an 'ultrafast' mode for quicker responses in ChatGPT Work and Codex, and a new collaborative document tool called ChatGPT Space.

Simultaneously, the company reduced allowances for its existing $200 Pro tier, cutting Codex/Work usage from 20x to 10x the Plus allowance and halving weekly GPT-6 Pro message caps from 200 to 100, though it says current subscribers will keep existing limits temporarily and receive a one-time credit afterward.
