If AT&T Fiber isn't available at your address, Xfinity is a solid alternative, with some of the most affordable plans starting at just $35. Just be aware of potential price hikes an

This battery recycling company is now cleaning up AI data centers

The event marked the launch of the company's new business line, Redwood Energy, which will repurpose (rather than recycle) batteries with years of remaining life to create renewable-powered microgrids. Such small-scale energy systems can operate on or off the larger electricity grid, providing electricity for businesses or communities. The 46 Best Shows on Hulu Right Now (July 2025)

While Netflix seemingly led the way for other streaming networks to create compelling original programming, Hulu actually beat them all to the punch. In 2011, a year before Netflix’s Lilyhammer and two years before the arrival of House of Cards, the burgeoning streamer premiered The Morning After, a pop-culture-focused news show that ran for 800 episodes over three years. Hulu has continued to make TV history in the years since, most notably in 2017 when it became the first streamer to win an E

Redwood Materials launches energy storage business and its first target is AI data centers

Tucked between two massive buildings in the hills of the Nevada desert, 805 retired EV batteries lie in neat formation, each one wrapped in nondescript white tarps — and hiding in plain sight. A passerby might not realize this unassuming array is the largest microgrid in North America, that it’s powering a 2,000 GPU modular data center for AI infrastructure company Crusoe, or that it represents the next big act of JB Straubel, the co-founder and CEO of Redwood Materials. Since the spring, the average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage has moved in a mostly narrow range around 6.8% and 7%. Mortgage rates were expected to gradually improve in 2025. However, the Trump administration's inflationary tariffs, deficit spending and geop

Mark Hamill Once Again Shared His Dark Motivations for Luke in ‘The Last Jedi’

Luke Skywalker had a wife and a kid who both killed themselves. Well, not really, but that’s what Mark Hamill internalized in order to get into the headspace of the character for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. The actor has shared this information before, but it’s been a while, so we figured it was worth discussing again with a little distance. Speaking on Bullseye with Jesse Thorn, Hamill explained the headcanon he created to try and understand why Luke Skywalker would have left the Je

I switched to LED bulbs and saved hundreds of dollars - but 5 other benefits made it truly worth it

Nitat Termmee/Getty Images As a kid, I was inspired by the decorative lighting in my grandparents' finished basement. They had festooned the place with multicolored C9 string lights (aka old-school Christmas lights) from wall to wall, beneath the built-in wet bar, around hanging mirrors, and anywhere else they could add an ambient accent for the parties they hosted down there year-round. Since then, I've festooned every home I've lived in with decorative lighting, whether in a sequestered man
