George Lucas's long-delayed Museum of Narrative Art has opened after being shopped to three different cities over 16 years and costing roughly $1 billion to build. Early reviews of the museum, which houses Lucas's personal collection of illustration and film art, are decidedly mixed.
Samsung and TSMC, the world's two largest chipmakers, have confirmed plans to deploy ASML's High NA extreme ultraviolet lithography systems, machines that can cost roughly $400 million each and etch finer circuit patterns onto silicon wafers. Samsung plans to use the tools for DRAM production starting in 2028 and expand its scaling roadmap by 2030, while TSMC expects broader adoption driven by increasingly complex transistor designs needed for AI chips. In one case, a financially motivated actor compromised cloud infrastructure and used an AI coding chatbot with markdown-based agent instructions to build and run a mass credential-harvesting operation in under six hours. Separately, researchers found an exposed command-and-control server running a framework called 'Recon' that autonomously managed reconnaissance and tens of thousands of harvested credentials.
Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone alongside its iPhone 18 Pro models, arriving seven years after Samsung's original Galaxy Fold.
